Les Héros du Vélo
Cycling's heroes were largely invisible back when I started riding in the 1960s, save the occasional shop-wall poster or rare copy of Miroir du Cyclisme. I started drawing Les Héros du Vélo several years ago as a tribute to the champions I could only imagine as a youth. A few from a more modern era slipped in, completing my small pantheon of stars.
